With over 7 years of culinary experience, I have mastered the diverse flavors of German, Georgian, and American cuisines. My journey began in Tbilisi's vibrant food scene, evolved in European rich culinary traditions, and flourished with the innovation of American cooking. As the head chef at Shatiri Wine Bar, I blend these influences into a menu that celebrates global tastes while catering to diverse palates. My cooking philosophy centers on creating memorable dishes that tell stories and nurture communities. I strive to offer an unparalleled dining experience, where each dish reflects a journey of flavors and passion.
The terraced hillside vineyards of Papari Valley…
A very great introduction for my first time eating Georgian food! I didn't know what to expect but everything was better than what I was thinking. The salad was so tasteful, so nutritious, not wasting any lettuce (there was no lettuce). The babduk was such a delightful surprise as well! There is a thin layer of meat inside of the bread that looks like a thin pot pie. The cornbread is interesting, not at all like your typical cornbread. Not sweet, but overall I would recommend!
Delicious brunch inside a wooden/nature themed space! We tried the pumpkin soup (our favorite), Adjaruki khachapuri (famous IG bread bowl with cheese and egg), khinkali (beef and pork dumplings), and a Georgian style donut with berries. It was a lovely way to start the day!
Wowww. This place is phenomenal to experience Georgian food AND service. Ask the servers to recommend dishes. You will be so pleased. The dumplings were a surprise… a little different than Chinese soup dumplings but so much flavor. The cheese bread is a MUST have for your first visit.
